For simplifying the efforts of Magento administrators Apptha has come up with a utile extension called the Extended Mass Action. This extension comes as an improvement of the default Magento mass actions including 'Change Status', 'Delete' and 'Update Attributes'. What can be done using Extended Mass Action? Product values can be edited on the gird.

The changes made can either be saved or neglected using the 'Save' and 'Cancel' options. Price and quantity of products can be updated in bulk. New categories can be added and unwanted categories can be removed. Special Price for products can be changed and stock status can be updated quickly. Columns like Name, SKU can be added and unwanted columns can be removed.

By creating easy-to-use options for editing, this extension reduces the time and effort put in by the administrators in maintaining their product statuses and other details up-to-date through the back end.
